Our Vital Chew Sticks made from natural cowhide and delicious beef with wild salmon oil are the perfect natural dental care snack. They are very hard, difficult to break, and have a groove on the side. Tartar formation is significantly reduced by the abrasion of the groove while chewing and by increased saliva flow.

Natural cowhide contains high-quality collagen. As a structural protein, collagen ensures the tensile strength of connective tissue and is found wherever elasticity and strength are important: in the skin, ligaments and tendons, cartilage, bones, skeletal muscles, blood vessels, and even teeth.
Beef contains plenty of biotin, which has a positive effect on metabolism and is good for your dog's coat and skin. Beef also contains niacin, which plays a crucial role in energy supply, skin regeneration, and nerve health. The meat also contains vitamin B12 and iron, which are essential for oxygen transport and blood formation.
As an added benefit, we add wild salmon oil to the chew strips. This provides the body with important omega-3 and -6 fatty acids. These fatty acids are immediately available to your dog's metabolism without prior conversion. Wild salmon oil has an optimal omega-3/omega-6 ratio of 9:1. These are the essential building blocks that all dogs need for a strong heart and a strong immune system.
One chew strip contains approximately 750 mg of wild salmon oil (197 mg omega-3 fatty acids / 28 mg omega-6 fatty acids).
