Our gently air-dried lamb menu is a particularly suitable meal for allergy sufferers and sensitive dogs, consisting of 80% lamb meat and offal, combined with fresh vegetables and tasty fruits. Enhanced with valuable, natural minerals and valuable salmon oil.
As an alternative for on-the-go and for those who do not have refrigeration facilities, we offer our air-dried menus. We use the same healthy and fresh ingredients for our dry menus as we do for our fresh menus.
For our air-dried menu, we use only fresh ingredients from food production in our in-house manufacturing facility. High-quality lamb meat, lamb offal, and lamb carcasses form the basis of this menu. Enhanced with crunchy sweet potatoes, healthy carrots, young peas, fresh apples, young spinach, and blueberries, as well as salmon oil, rose hips, algae lime, seaweed meal, and brewer's yeast, an air-dried menu full of valuable nutrients, vitamins, and minerals is created directly from the original ingredients.

Getting started
- 1Change over in one step. Drop a single meal, preferably in the evening, and give your dog Fidelis at the next.
- 2Measure the daily amount. Adults need about 1–1.5% of their body weight per day, which is roughly 250–375g for a 25kg dog. More detail in the feeding guide below.
- 3Seal and store. Use the ziplock to close the bag and keep it cool, dry and out of direct sun. Fresh water should always be within reach.

Which ingredients do we use & why?
Lamb (80%)
Lamb meat contains many important minerals. In particular, iron, zinc, and niacin are crucial for cell and blood formation. They strengthen the immune system and provide energy for the nervous system. Lamb meat is also very important for bones, as with natural vitamins A, C, D, K, and B12, it strengthens the metabolism of bone formation.
Sweet Potatoes (5%)
According to the American non-profit organisation Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), sweet potatoes are considered to be the healthiest vegetable of all. The greatest benefits of sweet potatoes are their high content of phytochemicals, which protect against free radicals. They are a source of minerals and vitamins and contain a lot of high-quality fibre.
Carrots (4%)
In addition to energy, fibre and low calories, carrots are healthy because they are an excellent source of vitamins and minerals. Vitamin A and biotin are particularly worth mentioning here. Carrots are rich in beta-carotene, which is converted into vitamin A in the body.
Apples (3.5%)
Apples are suitable for a healthy diet because they contain many vitamins, minerals and trace elements such as potassium, calcium, B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin E, folic acid, pectins and polyphenols.
Peas (2%)
Peas contain many vitamins. In addition to beta-carotene, peas are particularly rich in B vitamins and also contain vitamin C. Peas also score highly in terms of minerals: Magnesium, iron, calcium and zinc make them a particularly healthy vegetable side dish.
Spinach (2%)
Spinach is a low-calorie vegetable that is rich in the vitamins of the B group and vitamin C, as well as having a high beta-carotene content. The green leafy vegetable also supplies the body with the minerals potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron.
Salmon Oil (2%)
Salmon oil is an important source of fatty acids, particularly omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. The addition of salmon oil can have some decisive effects that ensure a long and healthy life for your furry friend, e.g. a better coat or faster healing of skin diseases.
Rosehip (0.5%)
In addition to vitamin C, rosehips also contain numerous other ingredients that have a positive effect on health. These include: Fruit acids, essential oils, pectins, tannins, silicic acid, the antioxidants lycopene and flavonoids, the vitamins provitamin A, vitamin B1 and B2 as well as vitamin E, the minerals zinc, copper, sodium, phosphorus, iron, calcium and magnesium.
Algae Lime (0.5%)
Algae lime consists of deposits of red algae. It contains mainly calcium carbonate, as well as magnesium carbonate and trace elements (boron, iodine, silicic acid) and thus prevents a deficiency of minerals and trace elements. The high calcium content supports the stability of bones and teeth and balances out the excess phosphorus from meat feeding, which can otherwise lead to kidney problems.
Blueberries (0.2%)
Blueberries are rich in vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants. They also have less fruit sugar than other fruits and are therefore also suitable for dogs with diabetes. They are full of vitamins C, A, B, and E and contain a high proportion of minerals such as calcium, potassium, and phosphorus.
Brewer's Yeast (0.2%)
Brewer's yeast contains lots of vitamins and minerals and is also a good source of protein. It also stimulates the metabolism and helps to keep blood sugar levels constant.
Seaweed Powder (0.1%)
Seaweed meal contains many minerals such as zinc and carotenoids which support the skin metabolism and the pigmentation of the coat, nose and paw pads. The amino acid lysine it contains optimises feed conversion; cellulose and mannitol support digestion.
Portion guide
Feeding is worked out as a percentage of your dog's weight per day. Puppies under 8 months: around 3–4%. Adult dogs: around 1–1.5%, whether they're small or large.

To give you an idea, a 20kg dog fed 1% of their weight would have 200g a day.
These are guide amounts for healthy, active dogs that haven't been neutered. Depending on age, breed and activity, your dog may need up to 50% more or less. The best measure is your dog: adjust the portion until they hold a healthy, steady weight.

Is everything in there?
We worked with Anita Kröger on our recipes. A holistic vet and the founder of the Centre for Canine Health, she provides medical nutrition advice and treats chronic disease, with special expertise in intolerances, allergies and digestive disorders.
For Anita, what a dog eats is one of the most important parts of a long and healthy life. She champions food that is natural, varied and appropriate to the species, and that's the standard every Fidelis menu is built to.
Suitable for dogs with allergies?
This is one of our go-to menus for sensitive dogs. Lamb is the only meat, with no chicken, beef or horse, and there are no grains such as rice or wheat.
Do bear in mind that it includes salmon oil, so it isn't suitable if your dog needs to avoid fish. It also contains sweet potato, spinach, peas and brewer's yeast, so read through the full ingredient list if your dog has known triggers.
Where your dog has a confirmed allergy, a medical condition or a diet set by your vet, ask your vet before you switch.
Introducing your dog to Fidelis
There's no need to phase it in slowly. Our advice is to swap straight over: skip one meal (ideally the evening meal) and offer Fidelis next time round.
Feed only this flavour for the first 7 days so your dog's digestion can get used to it. After a fortnight, you're welcome to start alternating it with our other flavours.
Serving & keeping
How to serve: open the bag, pour out your dog's portion and serve it dry, just as it is. There's no soaking involved. Just make sure your dog always has fresh water.
How to keep: store the bag away from direct sunlight, heat and damp. The ziplock means you can reseal it after each meal, and once open it will keep for several weeks.
Why we air-dry
Conventional dry food is typically produced in bulk from animal meals and vegetable by-products, and extruded at high temperatures. We gently air-dry our menus in our own factory instead, using a modern version of traditional techniques that have been used to preserve meat for centuries.
Because we work with fresh meat, offal, vegetables, fruit and oils, and treat them gently, the nutrients already inside them stay there. It means we can skip artificial vitamins altogether.
No high temperatures, no animal meals, no vegetable by-products, no fillers, no artificial vitamin additives, no extrusion, no sterilised cans.
The outcome is a healthy dry food full of the nutrients from its fresh ingredients, one that tastes and smells as good as it looks. It pairs the benefits of raw and fresh food with the safety and convenience of dry, so you can simply portion and serve.

About the food
What makes air-dried food different from kibble?
Conventional dry food is usually mass-produced from animal meals and vegetable by-products and extruded at high temperatures. Our menus are gently air-dried in our own factory, using only fresh meat, offal, vegetables, fruit and oils.
There's no extrusion, no animal meal, no fillers and no artificial vitamins or additives. The nutrients come straight from the original fresh ingredients.
What goes into each menu?
Every menu is made from around 80% meat and offal, combined with vegetables, fruit, salmon oil and natural minerals such as algae lime, rosehip and seaweed meal. Each product page lists the full composition and analytical constituents.
How is it different from your Fresh Menus?
We use the same healthy, fresh ingredients as our Fresh Menus. The Air Dried Menus are a convenient alternative for feeding on the go or if you don't have fridge space: simply portion and serve.
Who developed the recipes?
Our menus were developed with Anita Kröger, a holistic vet and founder of the Centre for Canine Health, who specialises in intolerances, allergies and digestive problems.
Feeding
How much should I feed?
As a starting point, feed about 1–1.5% of your dog's body weight a day, and around 3–4% for puppies up to 8 months. For example, a 20kg dog at 1% needs about 200g a day.
These are guidelines for healthy, active, non-neutered dogs. Needs can vary by up to 50% with age, breed and activity, so adjust to keep your dog at a healthy weight.
How do I switch my dog to Air Dried?
We recommend switching straight away: skip one meal (ideally in the evening) and start with our food at the next one.
Feed a single flavour for the first 7 days so your dog's stomach can adjust. After two weeks, you can alternate between flavours.
Do I need to soak it?
No. Just open the bag, pour the right amount into the bowl and serve. Always make sure your dog has plenty of fresh water available.
Is it a complete food?
Our Air Dried Menus are labelled as a complementary feed for dogs. Check the feeding information on each product page, and speak to your vet if you're unsure how to build it into your dog's diet.

My dog has allergies. Which menu should I choose?
