Our Fidelis Fresh Menus are the ideal base for a species-appropriate, varied diet. But what if you're on the go or don't have a fridge to hand? That's exactly why we developed our air-dried menus, also known as Dry Menus or Dry BARF: a convenient complementary food that combines the benefits of healthy raw ingredients with the ease of dry food.
A different approach to dry food
Conventional dry food is usually mass-produced from lower-quality ingredients such as meat meals or plant by-products and extruded at very high temperatures. Our Dry Menus are gently air-dried in our own factory, a modern take on centuries-old meat preservation techniques.
The same fresh ingredients
We use the same high-quality ingredients as in our Fresh Menus in jars: fresh meat, offal, vegetables, fruit and valuable oils. Gentle drying preserves essential nutrients as much as possible, so we can avoid artificial vitamins. Your dog gets nutrients straight from the original ingredients.

Everything you need to know about how our air-dried menus are made, stored and served.
What makes the air-dried menus special?
They're not extruded but gently air-dried, a modern take on centuries-old preservation techniques. This helps retain the natural vitamins and nutrients from fresh meat, offal, vegetables, fruit and oils as much as possible, with no meat meals, fillers or artificial additives.
Why air-dried instead of extruded?
Conventional dry food is often extruded at very high temperatures and may contain lower-quality ingredients such as meat meals or plant by-products. Our air-dried menus are made from fresh, natural ingredients and gently prepared in our own factory, without high heat, artificial additives or compromise.
Is it a complete food?
No. Our air-dried menus are a complementary feed, designed to be fed alongside a complete diet such as our Fresh Menus. Reduce your dog's main food slightly when you add them, so they aren't overfed.
How do I serve it?
Simply open the bag, portion it into the bowl and serve. No soaking or cooking required. Just make sure fresh drinking water is always available.
How large are the pieces?
The pieces are roughly the size of a £1 coin, so they suit both smaller and medium-sized dogs.
How long does it last?
Unopened, the menus keep for at least 12 months. Once opened, reseal the bag with the zip closure and it stays fresh for several weeks.
How should I store it?
Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity. Reseal opened bags and use within a few weeks.
How much should I feed?
As a starting point, feed about 1–1.5% of your dog's body weight a day. For example, a 20kg dog needs around 200–300g a day. You'll find more detail in the feeding guidelines on each product page.
As it's a complementary feed, reduce your dog's main food in proportion so the daily total stays right.
How do I switch to air-dried?
We recommend switching straight away: skip one meal (ideally in the evening) and start with our food at the next one.
Feed a single flavour for the first 7 days so your dog's stomach can adjust. After two weeks, you can rotate between flavours.
Can I use air-dried menus while travelling?
Yes. Our air-dried and Fresh Menus are made from the same fresh ingredients, so moving between them is usually easy on your dog's digestion. That makes air-dried ideal for travel or anywhere without a fridge.
As air-dried menus are a complementary feed, keep pairing them with a complete food while you're away.
