Our vital chewing sticks made from natural cowhide and delicious turkey meat with biotin and linseed oil are the perfect natural dental care snack. The natural cowhide contains high-quality collagen. As a structural protein, collagen ensures the tensile strength of connective tissue and can be found wherever elasticity and strength are important: in the skin, in ligaments and tendons, in cartilage, in bones, in skeletal muscles, in blood vessels and even in the teeth.
Turkey meat is lower in fat than chicken meat and is therefore ideal for seniors and overweight dogs. It is rich in protein, magnesium and B group vitamins. These help to build up nerves and are important for eyes, mucous membranes and skin health. The calcium and phosphorus contained in turkey meat also have a positive effect on the health of teeth and bones.
As an additional benefit, we add biotin, also known as vitamin B7 or vitamin H, to our vital chewing sticks. This serves as a key vitamin for the metabolism of carbohydrates, fat and amino acids. The conversion of nutrients from the feed into building materials for horn growth therefore depends on a reliable supply of biotin. It strengthens the hair coat and the skin. The shedding periods are shortened.
Linseed oil is one of the healthiest oils out there. It contains particularly high-quality omega-3 fatty acids. These anti-inflammatory alpha-linolenic acids help maintain healthy blood cholesterol levels in your dog.
