Spring 2016
From a friend, Christian gets mixed-breed dog Pippa. The friend gives him dry food.
Ohh, she’s so cute — but her coat really smells quite a bit.
Spring 2017
Christian’s first day at work in a dog food company that produces BARF.
There he learns everything about how dog food is made and discovers how bad the dry food he’s been giving Pippa actually is.
Christian starts feeding BARF. Her coat definitely smells better already.
Autumn 2017
Unfortunately, Pippa doesn’t tolerate BARF and keeps getting diarrhea. Afterwards, she always gets home-cooked food from Christian, which she tolerates really well.
2018
Christian now cooks for Pippa every day.
Her coat shines, and Pippa is doing wonderfully.
2020
Is everything in there? Christian worries whether his home-cooked food contains all the necessary nutrients. He asks Reiner, his colleague from the company. Reiner has the idea to cook only the meat and then add all other ingredients like vegetables, fruits, and minerals afterwards. This way, all nutrients are optimally preserved. Cooking is fun, and now Christian and Reiner regularly cook for Pippa and Reiner’s dog, Barri.
2021
At first, our colleagues and friends just wanted to try the food. Now they want us to cook for everyone. It’s still fun — but it’s definitely getting busier!
May 2022
Woohoo, we’re starting our own company — Fidelis is born! We’re now cooking in our own manufactory — wow, it feels just like home-cooked meals in Christian’s kitchen.
July 2022
The test orders are running. All test customers and test dogs are happy and satisfied. We’re finally going online in October — we can hardly wait!
October 2022
Our shop fidelis.dog goes online.
After many months of preparation, the time has finally come.
We’re all wondering: What will people think? Will they like our products? The design? Will the dogs enjoy the taste?
We sit excitedly in front of the computer and then... finally, the first order!
November 2022
We’ve been online for four weeks now, and our 1,000th customer just signed up. Already over 100 reviews — most of them five stars. The verdict: dogs love our Fresh Menus. Many customers have already ordered a second or even third time. We’re super happy and excited for what’s yet to come...
