Which reward is best suited for my dog?

Choosing the right training reward & Why It Matters

Choosing the right training reward for your dog comes down to their size and the moment you are rewarding. We offer two shapes, both made with the exact same 100% natural ingredients.

• Burger Bites: 4cm diameter, 0.5cm thick
• Fillet Tenders: 11cm length, 0.25cm thick

Both are available in single protein recipes or with added superfoods, and come in two pack sizes, 100g or a 1kg bucket.

For larger dogs over 25kg, both can be fed whole or easily broken into smaller pieces if preferred, and they are suitable for dogs of all sizes as it really comes down to your individual dog and how they approach a reward.

Why does it matter? Some dogs naturally take their time while others eat quickly, and this is not always linked to size, you might have a large dog that prefers to enjoy smaller pieces slowly or a tiny Chihuahua that finishes a treat in seconds. Fillet Tenders are especially versatile, ideal for tearing into bite-sized rewards during walks or feeding whole at home for dogs of any size.

Which one will your dog prefer, Fillet Tender or Burger Bites?

Our Minimal Processing Advantage = Healthier Rewards

At Fidelis, we keep things simple by carefully preparing each ingredient to remove anything unnecessary, then gently air-drying to lock in natural nutrients and flavour.

Unlike many commercial training treats, our rewards are never extruded and contain no fillers or preservatives, just pure, honest ingredients. This minimal processing helps retain essential vitamins and minerals while preserving the real taste dogs instinctively love.

By avoiding high-heat methods, we maintain the natural goodness of every ingredient, creating a softer, rewarding texture that’s perfect for training while still delivering a healthy, wholesome treat.

Our 3 steps to making our Natural Rewards

Step 1: Sourcing & Preparation

We source our ingredients from trusted, human-grade suppliers across Europe, ensuring full traceability and consistently high standards.

Each ingredient is then carefully trimmed, cleaned and checked by hand so only the very best makes it into our training rewards. Our fruits and vegetables receive the same level of care, freshly prepared to preserve their natural goodness in every treat.

Step 2: Air-Drying Process

Each ingredient is finely minced and shaped using custom plates without extrusion, creating consistent training rewards.

Each piece is then carefully checked and gently air-dried at low temperatures for up to 20 hours. This slow process helps retain natural nutrients while preserving texture and flavour.

Step 3: Inspection & Packaging

Our final step is a careful hand inspection, where any pieces outside our standards are set aside and donated to a local dog charity.

The rest are weight-checked, packed into kraft paper bags or buckets, dated and prepared for dispatch to our warehouse ready to fufill our online orders.

"My dogs love these and never get an upset tummy which nearly all other treats seem to do"

Our Training Rewards – The Fidelis Difference

At Fidelis, our training rewards are designed around what dogs truly respond to, real, natural ingredients that support both health and instinct while making training simple and effective. Our range includes both Burger Bites and Fillet Tenders, offering versatile options that suit dogs of all sizes, ages and feeding styles, including those with sensitivities thanks to our single protein recipes and clean ingredient approach.

Each reward is prepared using our simple mince, shape and air-dry process, helping to retain natural flavour, nutrients and quality in every piece. Because our training treats are never extruded and contain no fillers or artificial preservatives, they provide a more natural and digestible alternative to heavily processed rewards.

Their soft yet structured texture makes them easy to handle, break and feed, whether at home or out on walks.

They may look more natural and less uniform than typical training treats as each peice can be a slightly different shape or colour, but that is exactly the point. With Fidelis, you are choosing rewards that prioritise quality as no two meats are the same, delivering real value in every bite while keeping your dog engaged, motivated and coming back for more.

How to safely feed your dog a reward

Training rewards are a great way to reinforce positive behaviour and keep your dog engaged, but they should always be used appropriately as part of a balanced diet.

Always supervise your dog during use, especially when introducing a new reward. Choose a size and portion that suits your dog, and adjust based on their chewing style, some dogs prefer smaller, frequent pieces while others are happy with larger rewards.

Fresh drinking water should always be available. If your dog has a sensitive digestion, introduce new treats gradually and avoid overfeeding in one session. Training rewards should be fed in moderation and factored into your dog’s daily intake.

By using rewards thoughtfully, you can keep training effective, enjoyable and safe while supporting your dog’s overall health and wellbeing.
