Our FIDELIS Fresh Menus are the ideal solution for a species-appropriate and varied canine diet. But what if you’re on the go or don’t have refrigeration available? That’s exactly why we developed our air-dried Fresh Menus – also known as Dry Menus or Dry BARF. They’re the perfect alternative to our fresh menus in jars, combining the benefits of healthy raw ingredients with the convenience of dry food.
Unlike conventional dry food, which is usually mass-produced from low-quality ingredients such as meat meals or plant by-products and extruded at extremely high temperatures, we take a completely different approach. Our Dry Menus are gently air-dried in our own manufactory – a modern interpretation of centuries-old meat preservation techniques.
For our air-dried Fresh Menus, we use only the same high-quality, market-fresh ingredients as in our Fresh Menus in jars: fresh meat, offal, vegetables, fruits, and valuable oils. Thanks to the gentle drying process, essential nutrients are preserved as much as possible. That’s why we can consciously avoid artificial vitamins – your dog gets vital nutrients directly from the original ingredients.
No compromises, no additives: our air-dried Fresh Menus are free from all the typical downsides of conventional dry food. We strictly avoid high temperatures that destroy valuable nutrients, as well as low-quality ingredients such as meat meals or plant by-products. Fillers, artificial vitamins, and complex extrusion processes have no place here either. Instead of sterilized cans, we rely on gentle air-drying that retains all natural components – for true premium quality in every bowl.
The result is a healthy, complete dry food that looks, smells, and tastes like fresh ingredients – providing your dog with all the nutrients they need. Questions & Answers about our air-dried meals
Our dry meals are not extruded but gently air-dried – a modern take on centuries-old preservation techniques. This helps retain the natural vitamins and nutrients from fresh meat, offal, vegetables, fruit and oils as much as possible. Completely free from meat meals, fillers or artificial additives.
Conventional dry food is often extruded at very high temperatures and may contain lower-quality ingredients such as meat meals or plant by-products. Our air-dried meals, on the other hand, are made from fresh, natural ingredients and gently prepared in our workshop – without high heat, without artificial additives, and without compromise.
Simply open the bag, portion into the bowl and serve. No soaking or cooking required – just make sure fresh drinking water is always available.
The pieces are roughly the size of a £1 coin, making them suitable for both medium-sized and smaller dogs.
When unopened, the air-dried meals have a shelf life of at least 12 months. After opening, simply reseal the bag using the practical zip closure – this keeps the food fresh for several weeks.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light – ideally not in direct sunlight or humid environments. Reseal opened bags היט and use within a few weeks.
We recommend feeding 1–1.5% of your dog’s body weight per day. For example, a 20 kg dog would need around 200–300 g daily. Further details can be found below under “Feeding guidelines”.
We recommend a direct switch: skip one meal (e.g. in the evening) and start with our food the next day. For the first 7 days, feed only one variety, then feel free to rotate flavours.
Yes, this is absolutely fine. As both meal types are made from the same fresh ingredients, switching between fresh and dry food can be done at any time without causing issues – ideal for travel or when refrigeration isn’t available.
