Why should I give my dog natural chewing snacks?

Dogs love to snack – but quality and quantity matter. Our natural chewing snacks are a tasty reward that support dental care, strengthen the jaw, and provide meaningful activity.

What are FIDELIS natural chewing snacks made of?

All snacks are made from 100% natural ingredients, gently air-dried, and completely free from artificial additives, preservatives, or flavor enhancers. We use only raw materials from Europe – no raw materials from Asia.

Which types of snacks are available?

From classics like pig ears, bully sticks, and beef tripe to special horse snacks for sensitive dogs – there’s something for every size, age, and taste.

Are natural chewing snacks suitable for dogs with allergies?

Yes. Our horse snacks in particular are hypoallergenic and ideal for dogs with food sensitivities.

How often can my dog have natural chewing snacks?

As a supplement to the main food, we recommend – depending on your dog’s size, weight, and activity level – about one to two chewing snacks per day. Be sure to deduct the amount from the daily food portion.

Are the snacks suitable for puppies or senior dogs?

Yes. Softer snacks such as lung or tripe are suitable for puppies, while stronger chew sticks are better for adult dogs. Seniors will enjoy softer, easier-to-chew varieties.

Why are chewing snacks good for dental health?

Prolonged chewing acts like a natural toothbrush: it helps remove plaque, strengthens the jaw muscles, and supports healthy teeth and gums.

Do you know the feeling? You open the bag of tripe and immediately jump back a metre because the awful smell hits you straight away. That won't happen with FIDELIS beef tripe.

The rumen is dried in a special process and therefore loses the strong, unpleasant smell and smells more naturally of a farm.

Beef tripe, the cow's stomach, is not only delicious but extremely healthy. It's one of the offal cuts, and has a significantly higher nutrient content compared to muscle meat. The high levels of vitamins and trace elements in beef tripe make it a very healthy natural chew snack for your dog.

We only use fresh, natural tripe from European beef. This makes it especially high quality because it contains the pre-digested green plants of the food animals. The bacteria in the beef rumen have already broken them down and converted them into high-quality protein.

FIDELIS beef tripe has an important, beneficial effect on your dog's digestion. Furthermore, digestion and intestinal flora are supported by the probiotic lactic acid bacterium Lactobacillus Acidophilus contained in the rumen.

Our beef tripe is produced in our own factory without any additives, such as sugar, corn, wheat, soya, dyes, preservatives, meat meal, or other fillers. It's gently air-dried using our modern take on centuries-old meat preservation techniques.

The carefully selected beef tripe is sourced locally and is fully traceable. Thanks to our gentle manufacturing process, the nutrients in the beef tripe are preserved, helping your dog stay healthy and vital for a longer time.
