Why We Offer Our Fresh Menus in Glass Jars
Thanks to the gentle preparation and preservation in glass, our Fresh Menus are a far superior alternative to conventional canned food: nutrients are better preserved, artificial binders are unnecessary, and no harmful residues are produced. In addition, the menus smell fresh and appetizing – without the typical unpleasant canned food odor.
Instead of being packed in metal cans, our menus are preserved in glass jars. Through gentle steam cooking, the meat pieces and nutrients are optimally retained – completely without binders. The result: a meal that smells fresh, is healthy, and doesn’t taste like “canned food.”
Glass also has many advantages: it leaves no harmful residues like cans do, the jars are resealable, and opened portions don’t produce unpleasant smells in the fridge. It’s no coincidence that baby food is also offered exclusively in glass.
To ensure safe and sustainable packaging, the minimum order quantity is 6 jars. Every additional order can then be made in multiples of six.

Our menus are gently steam-cooked and then sterilized in glass jars. This preserves vitamins and flavor much better – without artificial binders, preservatives, or residues like those found in metal cans.
Yes, all our Fresh Menus are designed as complete meals and fully cover the daily nutritional needs of an average dog. However, we still recommend a varied diet, as no two dogs are the same. Rotating between different meats, vegetables, and menus ensures a natural, balanced nutrient supply – and adds more joy, variety, and flavor to your dog’s bowl.
Simply open the jar, pour it into the bowl, and serve. No cooking required.
Glass is taste-neutral, doesn’t release metal or coating residues, is recyclable and resealable. Plus, the menus smell fresh – without the typical unpleasant canned food odor.
Unopened, the menus are shelf-stable for several months thanks to gentle preservation in glass. The exact best-before date can be found on the label.
Reseal the jar, store it in the refrigerator, and use the contents within 2–3 days. Because of the glass, there are no unpleasant odors in the fridge.
The jars are shipped in special protective packaging via standard DHL shipping.
We recommend feeding 2–3% of body weight daily. A 20 kg dog should receive about 400–600 g per day. You’ll find more details in the “Feeding Recommendation.”
Transition slowly over 5–7 days. This allows your dog’s digestive system to adjust optimally to the new food.
